My breath was long, deep, and slow; my body was cold, numb, and painful; and my sight was small, dark, and blind. It felt as though I was dead. No feeling in body or mind, not a care in the world, and no thoughts to say to myself. A small pinhole of light appeared in front of me lighting the darkness of my own mind. I reached out into the light looking for salvation. It was close, until my chest thumbed and thumbed again. The light was getting darker and before it vanished, I heard my name.
